Standing
Committees Arrangements: Provide support for all members in the execution and practice of flower arranging. Conduct workshops and assist program committees with selection of programs and speakers. Greens Sale: During the club's major fund-raiser for the year, members make holiday wreaths, centerpieces, and cemetery mounds from fresh greens. These are sold to the public through advance orders. Proceeds pay for club activities and donations to various organizations. Horticulture: Provide programs, workshops, demonstrations and plant swaps to encourage interest in horticulture. Membership: Maintain routine record keeping of current members, recognize years of service with certificates and/or gifts. Program: Plan diverse monthly programs using Federation objectives, with participation of the Arrqangement and Horticulture Committees. Assist and introduce speakers. Arrange tours, field trips and workshops. Ways and Means: Raise funds by selling plants, arrangement supplies, Vision of Beauty calendars, bulbs, and other items |
